While Ruth was in Germany, Chris came down from Ottawa to visit. Chris was one of our boat neighbors at BYC in Ottawa. He is planning on heading out on a catamaran, but hasn't found a boat yet. So Geoff and Chris spent two days at the Miami Boat Show, then two more looking at boats between Miami and Vero Beach. We saw over 30 boats over the week (I'm not sure how Chris kept the boats apart in his mind). It was a great time, including the Lat's & Att's party at the boat show. Geoff ran into Terry there, who helped us take the boat down the Rideau Canal at the beginning of our trip. He also saw some friends from our time at the Brunswick Landing Marina.
Once Chris headed back to snowy Ottawa, the work began. Geoff fixed and installed numerous items around the boat, including replacing the old battery bank with a larger one (we now have enough power to run the fridge all the time), finishing the floors and doing more work on the autopilot installation.
